A Graphic Recorder in Ohio

My name is Matt Orley, and I am a graphic recorder here in Ohio. I label myself as a live illustrator for events and meetings, and I’ve been in business since 2018. I live in Peninsula, nestled between Cleveland and Akron near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

My first graphic recording project was in Canton, Ohio, with Diebold in 2010. The C-Suite event was arranged by an ideation company talking about the coming wave of mass digitization, and I was brought in to illustrate the discussed topics. I fell in love with the work!

It took me several years to learn that I could turn graphic recording into a full-time career. But in 2018, the learning struck, and Big Paper Strategy was born.

Graphic Recording Projects in Ohio

Ohio is of course, home, however, 90+% of my live illustration work takes place beyond state lines- often in warm weather states like Florida, Texas, and Arizona. But my graphic recording project list here in Ohio is steadily growing, with more on the way.
