Change is Hard.
Amid these tumultuous times of the retail apocalypse, the encroachment of the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and other human replacement technologies, white, blue and grey collared individuals are striving to stay relevant in this world, let alone to just keep up!
A thriving employee is one that can see opportunities, acts creatively, and comes to work with an enterprising mind set.
Creating the Enterprising Employee
We help companies set up innovation sessions (Enterprise Events) to encourage employees to be more than their current job title.
Self Limiting attitudes like “This is how we have always done it”, “That’s not my job” and “I can’t do that” are smashed to the ground as we:
- Invite employees to imagine better versions of themselves
- Suggest employees envision their fiercest internal competitor
- Team up for engaging brainstorming sessions (think of a hilarious and exaggerated business involving a herd of goats that dance)
- Develop and show avenues for continuous improvement and the flow of ideas (organizational acceptance of change)
- Review leading opportunities to move quickly – like Agile Scrum, Lean Startup and Design Thinking
Our Methods and Activities for a Creative Enterprise Event
At Big Paper – an Enterprise Event is an opportunity to improve every individual – and we get to do that in an incredibly engaging way- through design thinking, paper hat methods, exemplary business problems (think of a light MBA case studies, but make it outrageous), markers, post it notes, and big paper of course.
But the biggest and most important part is employee participation. All employees will be given the chance to interact with those outside of their own circles, and will be asked to draw (squares and circles on post-its, not a big deal!).
Just as exciting, we encourage and manage different personality types. Those that complain and those that cheer- will both be given their own specific chance to respond to ideas in a directed manner.
Lastly, while offsite events are inspiring, on-site events are certainly possible if workers are apart form their work day efforts.
The Company Benefit
An outstanding employee that can perform the same task over and over again will be defeated by robots, deep learning and big data. But, BUT! Smart organizations know that tomorrow’s successful employee must be creative and malleable, and we help promote organizational change.
A creative and discerning employee can succeed in an ever changing situation.
Bring us in.
